We are a group of people who try to live our lives in a way that is honest, caring
and supportive of others, both in the Church and the Community.
We are very varied in terms of our backgrounds, interests, occupations and ages;
however we are all trying to do “life together” believing that it is better to have
friends than to be alone.
We offer a range of activities and hope that some may be of interest to you and helpful
as you explore our site and maybe think: “What life is all about?”
The Church began in the mid-80s when a group of Christians, recognising that God
had radically changed their lives, came together to worship Jesus, pray for their
communities and seek to live out the practical Christianity that God had called them
The church has two pastors, David and Gillian Riley who have been married for 43
years and have 3 daughters Helen, Alison and Megan. We also have 6 grandchildren.
Both Gillian and I have worked in education for a number of years. The leadership
is supported by various teams including ministering in worship, work in the community,
prayer and preaching.
